Andrea Waxler was presented with the 10th Annual Black and White Spider Awards Nominee title in the category of Sports at a prestigious Nomination & Winners PhotoShow webcast Saturday, November 21, 2015. The live online gala was attended by over 10,000 photography fans around the globe who logged on to watch the climax of the industry's most important event for black and white photography. 10th Annual Jury members included captains of the industry from Bonhams, Random House, Aeroplastics Contemporary, Stockholm City Museum, Annenberg Foundation, Leo Burnett, FTM Art Advisory and Fratelli Alinari who honored Spider Fellows with 505 coveted title awards and 943 nominees in 31 categories. "It is an incredible achievement to be selected among the best from the 7,686 entries we received this year," said Basil O'Brien, the awards Creative Director. Andrea Waxler's three images, “Early Mornng Ride,”, Sitting At A” and “Warming Up” are exceptional images entered in the Sport category, represent black and white photography at its finest, and we're pleased to present her with the title of Nominee." Cape Cod Art Association's Juried Exhibit, "All New England" has awarded Honorable Mention to the black and white photo, "Pen and Ink" which was taken at Great Bay in Durham, NH.  The photograph was sold.

Woodbridge, CT-Tchoukball is a relatively new sport to the United States.  On July 19th six teams competed in the US Championships.  WAXLER | IMAGERY provided the photographic coverage for the event.

June 15, 2014  WAXLER | IMAGERY Chosen as Russell Gallery Artist

Andrea Waxler has been designated a "Russell Gallery Artist" as a result of a jurying process. Artists had to submit a portfolio of work for review by the jury. Acceptance was based on originality, technique, workmanship and quality. Works from WAXLER | IMAGERY will now be exhibited at all gallery shows .
